About Us

Innovative Technology to Improve Diesel Engine Performance

Revealiency is a tech-enabled company that focuses on optimizing engine performance through the analysis of engine exhaust and delivering maintenance recommendations to empower maintenance teams. Our Emissions-Based Maintenance (EBM) AI software aims to identify corrective maintenance actions that can lead to significant fuel savings and reduced environmental impact before OEM fault codes are triggered. We typically exceed fuel savings targets of 5%-7% in the projects that we have completed around the world. Revealiency has a strong commitment to helping engine owners understand and improve their engines' performance, resulting in lower operating costs and extended engine life.

Our Story

Welcome to Revealiency! Co-founded in 2016 by Steve "Skinner" Forbush and Jeramiah Forbush, we leverage decades of hands-on experience working with large industrial to innovate diesel engine performance analysis.

Our patented cloud-based application uses human-logic artificial intelligence (AI) to remotely collect emissions samples and provide diagnostic recommendations, empowering low-skilled mechanics to take effective corrective actions. With a US patent granted in 2020 and an Indian patent following, we're revolutionizing engine maintenance and efficiency.

The Emissions-Based Maintenance AI algorithms are based on Skinner's decades of hands-on experience working with diesel engines. Before joining Revealiency, Skinner managed over 8,000 pieces of diesel-powered mining equipment for a large mining company. Skinner's experimentation with emission-based maintenance steps began in earnest in 1997 after MSHA missed their final file "Approval, Exhaust Gas Monitoring, and Safety Requirements for the Use of Diesel-Powered Equipment in Underground Coal Mines" requiring ongoing monitoring of exhaust gas from diesel engine.

Rather than merely complying with the rule, Skinner and his team sought to improve miners' air quality. Skinner successfully developed a decisioning process that improved the performance of diesel engines (became known as "Skinnerizing" an engine), resulting in better-performing equipment that lasted longer. In addition to the significantly improved conditions for miners, the company saw reduced fuel costs and greater availability of key equipment. Skinner was given more and more engines to oversee and Skinnerize, until he was responsible for the entire diesel fleet prior.

Skinner teamed up with his son, Jeramiah, to develop human logic algorithms to diagnose engines and "Skinnerize" engines. Additional algorithms were developed that would allow companies to leverage their telematic investments to autonomously and remotely conduct emissions checks to diagnose diesel engines that were performing outside optimal levels. This technology was developed in a real-world environment and has been successfully tested and deployed worldwide. The EBM technology has been developed over decades of experimentation to enable our partners to deploy solutions that optimize their fleets rapidly.
